The Automated Mineralogy User Group Meetings are organised by volunteers. These events bring together new and expert users - across industry and academia - and provide a forum for technical discussions between themselves and with the technology providers.

User Group meetings were a regular part of the Automated Mineralogy community until 2014. The hiatus was broken in 2022 with the first new user group being held in Adelaide. The market had changed quite a bit in the intervening years, and User Group meetings are now a crucial part of both career development for users and an opportunity for feedback to the vendors.
